Welcome to the SIMS Training homepage, here is where you will find all the information you require for your SIMS training needs. For more information on the different type of SIMS training we offer, the possible training pathways and the training venues we use within Cheshire, then click on the appropriate link below. We can provide classroom based and onsite training sessions and welcome enquiries from school cluster groups.
If you wish to request any SIMS training for any of your staff members within your school, click on the appropriate request form below. Once completed and submitted, a member of the SIMS team will contact you regarding your request to discuss your training needs. Alternatively you can call the ICT Service Desk and log a training request.
Schools are responsible for obtaining adequate training for their staff. Whilst calls to the ICT Services Service Desk may result in limited advice or assistance in the use of SIMS, extensive training in the different modules of SIMS cannot be provided in this way. Schools who wish to cancel a course booking should give a minimum of five working days notice (excluding the day of the course and the day of the call); otherwise the full charge will apply.
